Es wurde entwickelt, um einige Aspekte anderer wichtiger Tourismus-Kongresse wie dem International Hotel Investment Forum Berlin zu replizieren und bot eine ausgezeichnete Networking-Gelegenheit sowie einen Austausch von Wissen und Erfahrungen zwischen den größten Spielern der Branche, einschließlich Firmen wie Sotogrande und Club Med. Die mehr als 320 Teilnehmer waren Hotelbetreiber aus dem mediterranen Raum, Bauunternehmer, Investoren und andere interessierte Parteien, die an den Konferenzsitzungen und Vorträgen teilnahmen und ihre Resort-Projekte und Erfahrungen in der anschließenden Ausstellung präsentierten. Neben anderen interessanten Einsichten bestätigten die Konferenzteilnehmer u.a., dass Spanien nach wie vor eines der interessantesten Spielfelder für Resort-Investoren ist, sowie für aus- und inländische Käufer, die in Zweitresidenzen und Tourismuswohnungen investieren möchten.
