We’re happy to announce that our Abama Hotels and Residences have recently been awarded new honors and received nominations for prestigious prizes domestically and internationally.
At this month’s FITUR (International Tourism Congress), Las Terrazas de Abama Suites was awarded the Canary Islands Business Innovation and Modernization Prize. This international conference brings together industry professionals from all over Spain and is one of the most important events of the year. The award was given to Abama by CaixaBank for our pioneering contributions to Canary Islands tourism, and is a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence.
Las Terrazas de Abama Suites was also nominated in several categories for the 2024 edition of the World Travel Awards. These awards are the most prominent international hospitality awards in the industry, and they seek nominees on every major continent. Establishments can be nominated at the country, continent, and global levels in a broad range of categories. This year Las Terrazas is in the running for Europe’s Leading Luxury All-Suite Resort; Europe’s Leading Luxury Island Resort; Europe’s Leading Resort; Spain’s Leading Hotel Suite: 4-Bedroom Suite with Ocean Views; and Spain’s Leading Resort. Abama has already won honors in several categories for multiple years running.
Finally, our Los Jardines de Abama residences have been named one of the three finalists from Tenerife in the AyE Prizes (Arquitectura y Empresa). We will be passing now into the national final with 17 other projects selected from Seville, Zaragoza, Pamplona, Madrid, Tenerife, and Valencia. These selections, which honor great achievements in architecture and new build homes, are the result of numerous rounds of voting among the public and architecture professionals, and the winner will be selected by a jury of renowned architects later this year.
