Benefitting from a mild climate year-round and easily accessible from anywhere in Europe, these properties stand out for their exclusivity in a protected natural environment where you can engage in a variety of sport and leisure activities. Investing in these properties is a smart (and pleasant) way to simplify your overseas holdings while earning returns in a secure European location. Below, we note a few additional special reasons to consider luxury apartments in Tenerife South.   ## Pristine nature Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and has two international airports that provide year-round connections to major European capitals. Once you arrive, you will discover an incredible array of attractions: ancient forests, volcanic landscapes, black and golden beaches, natural swimming pools, dramatic ravines, picturesque villages, and numerous walking routes to enjoy them all. But the highlight of the landscapes is El Teide National Park, home to Spain's highest mountain peak. In this protected environment you'll breathe easy and forge a genuine connection with nature, no matter the season, thanks to its year-round average temperature of 22°C.   ## Why Tenerife South?  After exploring the island and marveling at the incredible scenery, you'll find there's one corner that stands out from the rest. Anchored by the grandeur of El Teide National Park, the south of the island has its own airport and offers convenient access to the best beaches in Tenerife, impressive landmarks like the towering cliffs of Los Gigantes, and delightful coastal villages like Los Cristianos. Here, you'll find everything you need to nurture your personal well-being, appreciate life's simple pleasures, and escape from the hectic pace of urban life. Whether you lean towards water sports, hiking, theme parks, shopping, guided tours, or simply seeking out peaceful spots, you'll find that your choices are endless. In Tenerife South, you'll also find renowned luxury resorts like Abama. There's not only a golf course perfect for playing on at any time of year, but also Michelin-starred restaurants, direct beach access, professional tennis facilities, and a carefully curated real estate and hotel offer.   ## The support you need for a second home Prospective buyers of various nationalities, including British, French, and German, are increasingly interested in purchasing second homes in European destinations that align with their preferences for a good climate, a good location, access to essential services, and the freedom to craft their own lifestyle. When looking for a holiday home in Spain, there are two crucial issues: security and maintenance. Lacking in-house management support like the kind a resort can provide, independent properties come with a slew of extra costs and management headaches. For this reason, real estate consultants strongly recommend investing in projects that offer efficient support for your second home in a foreign country.  In this regard, Abama Resort Tenerife will surpass your expectations. The resort has the infrastructure essential to fulfill diverse ownership needs, whether buyers are interested in detached villas, luxury apartments within a community, or private properties on secluded plots. All the properties boast modern architecture, sea views, easily accessible amenities and services, and the peace of mind offered by a gated environment managed by a staff dedicated to keeping everything in order, as well as customizable management packages.   ## Returns on your investment Residential communities intended for tourism use, like Abama's Los Jardines de Abama and Las Villas del Tenis, represent an attractive opportunity for investors to generate short-term rental income. Our dedicated luxury hotel management company is responsible for the properties when owners are away, ensuring investors see returns without having to manage the business themselves. Good occupancy rates are not hard to come by, thanks to Tenerife South's growing status as a tourism destination with consistently high demand for luxury tourism in a unique natural setting. If you're beginning to explore [coastal property for sale](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/coastal-property-for-sale-the-pleasure-of-the-ocean-at-your-feet?hsLang=en), the appeal of luxury apartments in Tenerife South in growing year by year. It's a secure, lucrative, and comfortable choice for buyers looking to combine an easy investment with days of personal personal use in a tranquil European destination away from metropolitan life. ##### Published in category [Properties](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/tag/properties) ##### Share this post - [facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/the-growing-lure-of-apartments-in-tenerife-south) - [google-plus](https://plus.google.com/share?url=https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/the-growing-lure-of-apartments-in-tenerife-south) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/the-growing-lure-of-apartments-in-tenerife-south&text=The%20growing%20lure%20of%20luxury%20apartments%20in%20Tenerife%20South) - [linkedin2](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/the-growing-lure-of-apartments-in-tenerife-south) ### Recent posts [![Build a private villa in the Canary Islands’ premier resort](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/buy-a-plot-of-land-canary-islands%202.jpg?width=638&name=buy-a-plot-of-land-canary-islands%202.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/build-a-private-villa-in-the-canary-islands-premier-resort?hsLang=en) Posted 06/07/2026 [Build a private villa in the Canary Islands’ premier resort](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/build-a-private-villa-in-the-canary-islands-premier-resort?hsLang=en) [![Abama awards nominations 2026](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Abama%20Nominations%202025-1.jpg?width=638&name=Abama%20Nominations%202025-1.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/abama-resort-award-nominations-2026?hsLang=en) Posted 30/06/2026 [Abama Resort Award Nominations 2026](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/abama-resort-award-nominations-2026?hsLang=en) [![enjoy the night sky from your home at Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/see%20astronomical%20phenomena%20this%20summer%20from%20your%20home%20at%20Abama.jpg?width=638&name=see%20astronomical%20phenomena%20this%20summer%20from%20your%20home%20at%20Abama.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/this-summer-enjoy-the-night-sky-from-your-home-at-abama?hsLang=en) Posted 25/06/2026 [This summer, enjoy the night sky from your home at Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/this-summer-enjoy-the-night-sky-from-your-home-at-abama?hsLang=en) [![Las unit in Las Atalayas villas Abama Resort](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/last%20unit%20in%20Las%20Atalayas%20Abama%20Resort.jpg?width=638&name=last%20unit%20in%20Las%20Atalayas%20Abama%20Resort.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/last-unit-in-las-atalayas-buy-a-luxury-villa-in-tenerife?hsLang=en) Posted 16/06/2026 [Last Unit in Las Atalayas: Buy a Luxury Villa in Tenerife](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/last-unit-in-las-atalayas-buy-a-luxury-villa-in-tenerife?hsLang=en) [![Festivals and summer celebrations near your home at Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/romerias%20and%20festivals%20near%20your%20home%20at%20Abama.jpg?width=638&name=romerias%20and%20festivals%20near%20your%20home%20at%20Abama.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/festivals-and-summer-celebrations-near-your-home-at-abama?hsLang=en) Posted 09/06/2026 [Festivals and summer celebrations near your home at Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/festivals-and-summer-celebrations-near-your-home-at-abama?hsLang=en) [![The finest move-in-ready luxury penthouse in Tenerife: Los Jardines de Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/move-in%20ready%20luxury%20penthouse%20in%20Tenerife%20Abama%20Resort.jpg?width=638&name=move-in%20ready%20luxury%20penthouse%20in%20Tenerife%20Abama%20Resort.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/the-finest-move-in-ready-luxury-penthouse-in-tenerife-los-jardines-de-abama?hsLang=en) Posted 22/05/2026 [The finest move-in-ready luxury penthouse in Tenerife: Los Jardines de Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/the-finest-move-in-ready-luxury-penthouse-in-tenerife-los-jardines-de-abama?hsLang=en) #### Abama Resort Brochure 2019 Get your copy of the latest Abama Resort brochure today.
