Las Terrazas de Abama Suites: Best Hotel Suite in Spain

The most discerning juries in the hospitality world have spoken: Las Terrazas de Abama Suites has the best hotel suite and is the best resort in Spain. The two awards came at the World Travel Awards 2024 gala ceremony, held on November 24th at the Savoy Palace in Madeira. Being named "Spain's Leading Hotel Suite" and "Spain's Leading Resort," categories in which Las Terrazas de Abama Suites was honored to win for the second consecutive year, confirms the excellent services and facilities that have long made this 5-star accommodation a standout. They're also the motivation to continue surpassing our own quality standards, year after year.

Since their creation in 1993, the World Travel Awards have celebrated the tourism successes of each of the Earth's geographic regions through guest voting and the ratings of more than 200,000 hospitality professionals from around the world. The awards are an initiative of the World Travel and Tourism Council and considered the "Oscars" of the tourism industry. Receiving them is not only an honor; it's a benchmark by which other hotels are guided when they aspire to join the big leagues.

This year Las Terrazas de Abama Suites also proudly received the CaixaBank award among Canary Islands hotel enterprises for “Innovation and Modernization of Tourism Companies” in the Best Digital Transformation category. Las Terrazas de Abama Suites and HD Parque Cristóbal Gran Canaria both won this award “in recognition of the digitalization process of both establishments and the innovative application of technology to business.”

Known as a sanctuary of peace that is perfect for relaxing and unwinding, Las Terrazas de Abama Suites comprises 151 suites in which every detail has been carefully considered. If guests need to work remotely, they'll find a good connection as well as other specialized digital hospitality services.

Las Terrazas de Abama Suites has also been recertified for the Biosphere Certification from the Responsible Tourism Institute that it was first awarded in 2022. This recognition of the establishment's alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals confirms Abama Tenerife's commitment to a tourism model that prioritizes the natural environment, local development and the wellbeing of its guests.
