Along the way, we have had the fortune to find ourselves in some incredible places and with great people we have introduced to the magical island we call home. To wit, at the beginning of September we bundled up and headed to Crans Montana in the already cooling Alps to enjoy the Omega European Masters. This event, the second-largest of European golf tournaments, open to players from both the European and Asian Tour since 2009, never disappoints. The prestigious competition was incredible as ever, drawing a huge number of spectators to the tournament and ancillary events. Abama Luxury Residences was present with a full stand in the village, to which we were happy to receive numerous visits. Perhaps unsurprisingly, our golf course and properties materials drew great interest from a public already besotted with courses of the caliber of Crans-sur-Sierre. And we were thrilled to rub elbows with the likes of Lee Westwood and other international players. It would seem that central European golfers are on the lookout for their next international destination, especially if world-class properties, accommodation and golf courses are on offer. As the days grow shorter and winter descends over Switzerland, we suspect that Abama’s Canary Island spring will have greater and greater appeal, especially since we offer some great golf tournaments of our own! It's all part of being one of the [best golf resorts](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/visit-the-best-golf-resorts-abama-tenerife?hsLang=en) in Europe. ##### Published in category [Properties](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/tag/properties), [Golf](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/tag/golf) ##### Share this post - [facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/abama-heads-to-one-of-europes-top-golf-tournaments-cransmontana) - [google-plus](https://plus.google.com/share?url=https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/abama-heads-to-one-of-europes-top-golf-tournaments-cransmontana) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/abama-heads-to-one-of-europes-top-golf-tournaments-cransmontana&text=Abama%20heads%20to%20one%20of%20Europe's%20top%20golf%20tournaments:%20CransMontana) - [linkedin2](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/abama-heads-to-one-of-europes-top-golf-tournaments-cransmontana) ### Recent posts [![Build a private villa in the Canary Islands’ premier resort](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/buy-a-plot-of-land-canary-islands%202.jpg?width=638&name=buy-a-plot-of-land-canary-islands%202.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/build-a-private-villa-in-the-canary-islands-premier-resort?hsLang=en) Posted 06/07/2026 [Build a private villa in the Canary Islands’ premier resort](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/build-a-private-villa-in-the-canary-islands-premier-resort?hsLang=en) [![Abama awards nominations 2026](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Abama%20Nominations%202025-1.jpg?width=638&name=Abama%20Nominations%202025-1.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/abama-resort-award-nominations-2026?hsLang=en) Posted 30/06/2026 [Abama Resort Award Nominations 2026](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/abama-resort-award-nominations-2026?hsLang=en) [![enjoy the night sky from your home at Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/see%20astronomical%20phenomena%20this%20summer%20from%20your%20home%20at%20Abama.jpg?width=638&name=see%20astronomical%20phenomena%20this%20summer%20from%20your%20home%20at%20Abama.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/this-summer-enjoy-the-night-sky-from-your-home-at-abama?hsLang=en) Posted 25/06/2026 [This summer, enjoy the night sky from your home at Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/this-summer-enjoy-the-night-sky-from-your-home-at-abama?hsLang=en) [![Las unit in Las Atalayas villas Abama Resort](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/last%20unit%20in%20Las%20Atalayas%20Abama%20Resort.jpg?width=638&name=last%20unit%20in%20Las%20Atalayas%20Abama%20Resort.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/last-unit-in-las-atalayas-buy-a-luxury-villa-in-tenerife?hsLang=en) Posted 16/06/2026 [Last Unit in Las Atalayas: Buy a Luxury Villa in Tenerife](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/last-unit-in-las-atalayas-buy-a-luxury-villa-in-tenerife?hsLang=en) [![Festivals and summer celebrations near your home at Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/romerias%20and%20festivals%20near%20your%20home%20at%20Abama.jpg?width=638&name=romerias%20and%20festivals%20near%20your%20home%20at%20Abama.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/festivals-and-summer-celebrations-near-your-home-at-abama?hsLang=en) Posted 09/06/2026 [Festivals and summer celebrations near your home at Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/festivals-and-summer-celebrations-near-your-home-at-abama?hsLang=en) [![The finest move-in-ready luxury penthouse in Tenerife: Los Jardines de Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/hs-fs/hubfs/move-in%20ready%20luxury%20penthouse%20in%20Tenerife%20Abama%20Resort.jpg?width=638&name=move-in%20ready%20luxury%20penthouse%20in%20Tenerife%20Abama%20Resort.jpg)](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/the-finest-move-in-ready-luxury-penthouse-in-tenerife-los-jardines-de-abama?hsLang=en) Posted 22/05/2026 [The finest move-in-ready luxury penthouse in Tenerife: Los Jardines de Abama](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/the-finest-move-in-ready-luxury-penthouse-in-tenerife-los-jardines-de-abama?hsLang=en) #### Abama Resort Brochure 2019 Get your copy of the latest Abama Resort brochure today.
