This is an event designed for industry professionals, but it’s also open to anyone from the general public who’s interested in or a fan of the gastronomy of the Fortunate Isles. At the Centro Internacional de Ferial y Congresos of Tenerife, the crème de la crème of professional gastronomy establishments in the Canary Islands will be in attendance presenting their wares, positioning themselves and promoting companies, products and services in a setting ideal for those with an appetite. Attendees of Gastrocanarias can enjoy the Final Canary Islands Cooking Championship as well as see various show-cooking events, masterclasses and presentations. If you’re fortunate enough to reside at Abama, you’ll well know the marvels of our restaurants Txoko and Melvin, run by Michelin-starred chef Martín Berasategui, and perhaps it would interest you to attend the presentations by renowned chefs and restaurant managers. Apart from these more professional and specialized activities, the Gastrocanarias Salon will also offer classes in beer drawing, cocktail creation, wine tastings, tapas workshops and dozens of products to try. Make sure you download the program and map out which events you must attend. Delicious Canary Island food and [Tenerife culture](https://blog.abamahotelresort.com/tenerife-culture-the-intangible-assets-that-make-our-island-unique?hsLang=en) awaits you!
